What's Eating Arthur's Grape?.......Guiness Of Course! =) *Part 1*

So, woke up around 2pm something yesterday, and saw I had several messages on my nokia phone screen.



Hmmffph! sigh and went thru the list and checked what it was, didn't know I'm about to have a lucky streak coming along.



Aunt R's msg was intriguing, she'd asked if anyone was interested to buy 3 tickets to Arthur's day worth RM103 for RM60 each instead!!



I didn't kid myself that I'd be able to go since am flat out, so are my parents so I'd grogily replied that I would look for buyers.



Well, turns out Facebook is deffinately the way to go if you want to get rid of things faster than you can say S-A-L-E!.



Sweetie B emmidiately score the sale of the tickets, which left one remaining. Therefore I'd inform my aunt and my aunt went like...."Eh, you don't want to go ar Trisha?" and I was like "Em...want..but can't afford."



She keep silent for awhile and then said something incredulous~! "Tell you what, you take the remaining ticket, its on me. Go and have fun!!" I could hug my aunt if it weren't bcos we were on the phone!



So, after much debating and hot heated arguments with said partner. He relented to let me go with sweetie B and her BF.



Only, B's bf couldn't make it and suddenly partner seem very keen to go. So I'd gotten the remaining ticket for him instead. B's friend who wanted it first was very unhappy...poor guy~! I'm so sorry!



Before that, sweetie B couldn't sit still and keep asking me to go and ask me to plead to said partner. LOL...managed to create suspense for her, which she could have strangled me for it (She said it herself! hehe, sorry B darling!)



Then the topic when on to...."OMGosh!! what to wear??" and honestly, I'm always trying to got for antique sophistication. Simple and elegant they always say, and comfort too!



We'd decided on jeans and top. Had to change into several tops that would fit partner's bill on decent and this is the turnout below;

So, once done with the dressing we took off flight for the show to cut a long story short. =)

Who Say's I C-A-N'-T COOK??!!!

About a coupla months back, think somewhere in May/June, darlin T.T.Y aka Bestie came to my house and we did some cooking.

Yes, yes..I can already hear the horrendous *Gasp!* everyone of you fear. And NO, we didn't managed to poison ourselves *LOL!*

In fact, cooking turned out delicious! and my partner and his sister are LIVE witnesses to this.

Life's Nightmare....

Have you ever wondered what it feels like to lose your memory? Not to remember WHO you are, WHERE you're from, WHAT you are?




Dementia....the word itself makes me shudder, then what about LUPUS? the reason I'm bringing this topic up is because I might lose my mum to a sickness similiar to memory lost thanks to LUPUS.




Right now, I have no strenght to type much about this sickening desease that torments me and my family's soul.

GRADUATING~S-W-E-E-T!!!

I can't believe it~! after months and months even years of waiting to graduate I can finally, and proudly say I'm a diploma holder with a certificate to prove it!!!




Yessh...well, I haven't gotten the cert yet, as graduation ceremony's next month *OCT 31st 09 * (OOoh can't wait~!) but hell yeah! I'm totally 100% done with my course and can proudly put in my resume that I HAVE a Diploma, no more putting in *obtaining diploma* in the resume anymore.




Parent's are relief, and now its my youngest brother we're waiting in anticipation for. I can make my grandmama proud now! Here's to you my beloved GRANDMA Soh Aiye Neo. For the times she has non-stop saying to me "Habis surat dulu, baru lu mau cinta ka, buat apa nanti lagi senang mau dapat kerja!" thats the typical nyonya accent if you're scratching your head wondering why the heck we speak malay. *Grins* Oh, and surat means studies in our nyonya language if you're blur about this too!

Am soOo bloody thrilled~! It started off with me going to college today to collect my extremely final results for my internship report. The administrator didn't have the result but she said I passed and the result was B, plus or minus wasn't sure. But heck she'd confirmed I'd pass and gave me some papers to fill for library claims and forms for graduation ceremony!




I've recently been bumping into old schoolfriends of late and it cease to amaze me as I've no idea whats causing the liasons. Could it be, because I'm missing my old school life? lol. So, speaking of which, as I left the doors of college and head to my car (which, sad to say was parked illegally at the curb, typical malaysian..I know..) my phone rang, and instead of my partner's name on the screen I was surprised to see JH's name on my screen.




JH and me had been saying we would meet up one of this days, but had never actually got around a lil reunion of seeing each other. Understandably we're both busy, anyone who's been trying to meet up old pals would understand *Grins*




Back to the story, he called and I answered with a high pitch squeak "HI!" since I was deliriously happy to have finally be graduating and now having a call from my old primary school friend was what seemed like a good day ahead of me.



JH surprised me by saying "Are you wearing a blue shirt??" (Its a blue top! but what the heck) and I answered "Yes!...why? where are you?" and he went "I'm in front of you la~! see the gray car in front of your car?"



Talk about mere coincidence! I'd decided why not take this opportunity to catch up? so we agreed to meet up for lunch near his parent's restaurant and before that I'd ask him to lead me to the nearest petrol station (Tank was EMPTY!) lol, in my haste to get my results I'd forgotten to pump petrol. Lucky my good ol' Kancil didn't let her mistress down midway!




There was much catching up to do, I'd learned he's now in the maid agency. So anyone wants a maid you can ask me to contact him, although my aunt in JB is also in the same industry.

I miss my childhood, we've always been thinking of catching up with old friends but we all know re-unions normally would not happen. Therefore I'm much skeptical to do one, but what the heck? who knows it might be a good re-union if it happens.




For now, I'm relishing my happiness of being finally able to graduate. Aaah...life is temporarily sweet to the taste~

Another Chance~ Third time's the charm they say....

We've all been guilty of hating a person, I'm no less any different. Except I'm a creature that cannot live with hate in my heart no matter how much (with only one exception whose name I shall refrain from putting up tho HE knows who he is!) I despise the person/persons that do me wrong.

Therefore, I've found myself aimless of times confronting the people I dislike and make amends. This time was no different.

For those who follows my blog, you would have noticed I'd taken down a recent post in a form of poem dedicated to K.

It was nasty, and filled with pure hate and malice. Therefore, I'm apologising once again for the immaturity, albeit its a free country and one can post up whatever he/she wants on the internet.

Readers, you would be glad to know we've made amends and put our differences aside.

Lastly, here's a pic of the good ol' times we'd shared. I'm holding on to her promises, in hopes this time she'll prove herself a True Friend I could count & trust from now on. (U know who you are!) Well only time will tell, so let's wait and see. Reader's I'll keep u posted!
