The Crazy Trix Goes to KLIA...

Yesterday, we (Trev, Chelsea & Me) saw Cassie off at the airport, funnily enough we didn't cry at all. Just laugh and ate pizza. (Yes, we brought pizza! and it was Chicken Classified and Beef Pepperoni mind you)

The whole journey towards KLIA was a journey to remember, it was hilarious and probably fit to be made into a movie.

Why so? Well...firstly, it was all planned that we'd leave earlier. Under circumstances, few things got screwed up, such as Trevor's classes ended up two hours later than was said that made a few Pitt stops a rush like a madman and woman in a small little kancil, we lost all our nerves!

Poor Chels had to wait, and then we rushed into Domino's cuz I thought it would be a nice surprise for Cassie as the three of us L-O-V-E-S pizza whenever we're at Cassie's place we order it without fail.

So, two large pizza's, two girls & one boy, a kancil all fully geared and headed onwards to KLIA.
Cassie & her mum was about to go into the train that takes em' into the other side of the building to where the airplanes were and I still feel so bad we made them wait! We were speeding like mad and only just managed in time, what with Chels droppin her glasses on the way in with the pizza's running onwards like mad, while I stayed back to look for it and managed to still catch up, Trev was parking the car and run up ahead of me thinking I was ahead instead (Cuz he ring me hand phone!)

And as the lift went up, midway Chels ring me, only the weirdest thing was SHE WAS RIGHT BESIDE THE LIFT I WAS IN!! and she didn't see me, gawd! I quickly rush out my lift and Chels was only just in the nick of time to look up and hold the button before the doors managed to squash the living life out'ta me!

Out of breath, we reached the designated floor, only to realised we don't know where Cass is cuz she wasn't answering her phone. Running around like idiots, finally Chels managed to get a ring tone and handed the cellphone over to me to answer it as she was totally out of breath, gasping.

I found out from Aunt Judy where they were, " Go to towards counter F, head straight on and you'll see a Caf'e calld Cafe' Mache Trish!" Ookay, I only see kopitiam or some thing in front of me. Then, in front of me I saw Trev. Waving for him to come towards me, I told him where to head.

Luckily we weren't that far from where they were, running, Chel's slowed down moaning I can't see her! Then, spotting them from afar, I gained speed and urged Chels " Come on Chels, just abit more! I can see her, over there!!"

Poor Chels, she was gasping by then, and surprisingly she still had strengh cuz I said " Chh..chels! *Gasp, spluttering* Yell!!" and Yell she did, so loudly that people around were startled at the three of us running forward and Cassie, of course heard her name.

Cass was estastic (Well...she BETTER BE!) and started babbling happily away, while I catch..oh! sorry, I meant while WE catch our breath!!

Then, I waited to get my Sunnies Cass happily looked at me and goes.."Err...I can't find em, wait..*Seeing the look of horror written on my face!*..ERR...or DID I bring them?..hehe" Great, my lil sister can really be a sweetheart with the word *DEVIL* written on her halo above her.

After what felt like eternity, she digged out my sunnies Bren darling gave to me. "Here it is! Hee..I know why I couldn't find it earlier, everything inside my bag is like black! and the sunnies case is black!!" (SWEAT)

Oh well, we finally had to say goodbye at the departure gates but NOT without Cassie taking a bite off the Pepperoni Pizza we brought all the way! Of course, she happily ate it and sadly hugged us goodbye.

(We're Gonna Miss Uu =( )

(Smile as you walk goodbye~! Cassie & Aunt Judy)

But Chels is not deterred! she told Cassie "We'll see u off your flight towards the end, even inside till we can't see u anymore!!" And see her off we did, Pizza and all!! We saw her into gate, by gate, thru the scanning bags till the last bit of her. Aunt Judy couldn't help laughing at how crazy we were. *Smilez*

(Till Next Year, Cassie Dear..*SOb SoB!!*)

And...that was IT, we finally saw her off a-la entourage style,

Chels stop by my house and got wired up to clean it..LOL!! The night ended with us dropping Chels home and letting her mum and grandma cooed over Lil' Christy who came along for the ride.

Au-revour y'all~!

Traumatized

I had a horrifying day today (18/08/2008), it got me all upset and traumatized up till now as I type.

I don't know what really happened but this is how it starts. Woke up and got myself all dolled up, as it was Casting day today for a hair shoot at Kelana Square. All geared up and energized, I'd cleaned the house as much as I could and quickly took off to the car park.

Looked at the gas meter and realised that I needed to fill in gas soon. So I'd dropped by the gas station near the house on my way out and fill it.

As I hit the road again, everything was still smooth sailing until as I was passing by Taman Kinrara area, after Bintang where the road leads into the LDP highway (Its a shortcut everyone in Kinrara area uses it) I had to turn at a bend/curve as you call it that leads down to the highway, I suddenly lost control of the car, the steering wheel would not work with me, I couldn't turn it and the brakes weren't working either!

The car hit the curb, went on top of it, turned 360 degrees and crashed into the divider opposite. I was lucky the impact wasn't that bad, otherwise I would've crashed through the divider and down below ongoing traffic of the highway according to the kind motorcyclist who was ahead of me when the car started to swerve.

He (Motorcyclist) came and asked me through the window if I was okay. I was so shaken, I could literally feel my whole body tremble. I just couldn't believe I'd lost control of the car, nothing indicated that I would and I've drove through that bloody road a dozen time with the same speed.

Note: I wasn't even speeding! meter wasn't even at 100km, can't remember what speed though.

Then , he asked me what happened. I mouthed out through the window, and then realised it was closed, so I'd open the door instead and told him I don't exactly know what happened. Weird though, the car engine was still running!

I explained what had transpired and he checked the car for me, afterwards he said its okay. The car's okay only dented. I could still drive it, cause he drove my car back to the correct lane.
I was still shaken but thanked him profusely for stopping and helping me. God bless that man, who's a Malay by the way.

Then, I got in and drove to Kelana still determined to go for the casting. It was a slow drive, and I was feeling real edgy.

It totally wasn't a good day for me, when I got there I saw some tight competition. There was a guy and three pretty long legged girls on the couch waiting for the casting as well. I felt so plain beside them all, but didn't show it. They weren't model hot, just pretty typical Chinese kinda gurls. (Sigh!)

Then, I got chosen first to do the casting when two professional hairstylist came in. They took my picture , face first (also known as head shot), and then side profile, and lastly my back (to show the length of my hair)

I felt euphoria as I had a feeling I was near sure to get the call, then my heart sank. The last two questions they asked me got me down. The first was if I was willing to let them cut my hair any way they wanted. I excitedly said they have my blessings, then if I was willing if they'd colored it. That's when the sinking feeling came in, I sadly shake my head and bit my lips indicating a NO.

I knew my hair was what they wanted, as its a near perfect virgin. I never colored it, never permed, only ever had it cut. I think most of my friends who knows me could safely joke and say that my hairstyle has nearly never changed from the time they knew me.

I had a personal reason why, and they shook thier head indicating they understood. I knew then, that I had lost, as the other girls had curls and colored hair.

Still, I didn't exactly feel so jaded. The director who asked me to come, called me and kindly asked me how it was. I told him, and he encouraged me to try for another casting at Bangsar. That one's for a commercial shoot. I told him I'd love too, but wouldn't be able to make it as the casting finishes at 5pm, and I'd already estimated that I won't be able to make it in time from Kelana to Bangsar as it was already 4pm plus.

He said it was okay, anytime I want to join the casting just give him a call and he'll help me. What a nice man, who knows? Maybe my luck's in there for the next following time. I never counted myself even close to pretty, cuz all my life people's been saying "Oh! you're cute." and back then the definition of C-U-T-E is 'ugly but adorable' in the dictionary. LOL!

So yeah, not much of a self esteem, but I figured its good to be humble ain't it? The closest thing I'd ever got to being on tv was when I'd done the REXONA shoot with my partner. When it got on air, only my hair was noticeble behind the lead gurl's back in the bus. Haha...my hair got famous on TV! How hillarious!

Well, I'll stop here. Not much in the mood to remember much of yesterday, just counting my blessings am not in the hospital or in the morgue.

Toodlez...

Gatecrashers-PartyPoopers!

Ever felt like you wanna be young, like reaalllll young back into your tweens?

Yeah well, I did. So I turned into one mentally last week saturday, here's what happened.

Last week, I went to my darling godsisters house in Kota Kemuning, and brought along the 'babies' cuz Cassie dearest (Youngest godsister) loves Cookie. Since Cookie was leaving to her new home on Sunday, Cass wanted to spend some time with her.

As I reached there, and Cassie and Chelsea her best friend were at the steps waiting for me. (Hmm...or rather, waited for the babies I think! lol)

It was late friday night, and I haven't had dinner. So we dialled for PIZZA!...but for once, pizza failed us as it was closed. So, I nearly had gingerbread and milk, when I remembered there was MAC'd's nearby!! Hoorray, so cheese burger was ordered and I was content. (Ps: Thank You Bren darling for taking the trouble to buy it for us!)

Oh, have to add that I finnally got a picture with my dearest, hot babe sister, Brenda!!

(Hottie Bren & Mua!)

Isn't she gorgeous? After that it was bedtime.

The next morning, surprisingly I woke up at 7am (Slept at around 4am!) to check on the babies and feed them cuz they were making a small racket in the box that we'd dumped them in.

Unsurprisingly, they gave me a hell'luva time cleaning up. (Think poop mess people!) while Cassie was still in beautiful dreamland, Chelsea was a doll helping me with them.

After then, we tried going back to bed. Frankly speaking, we failed at that, so Chels and I took a book each and read. Then lil' Ethel, my godsista's nephew was up and running about. So to stop him from making us dizzy and getting in the way of our reading I'd managed to pursuade him to read with us. He was so cute when he did, giving this concentrated look at the book (albeit he couldn't read a word cuz he's just two!)

Tried taking a pic when he was doing that, but he looked up too quickly.

(Lil Ethel & Cassie's head)

Then it was breakfast time, and we dragged our lazy bums out for a squashed ride to eat bak-kut-teh. (Bak kut teh for B-R-E-A-K-F-A-S-T!!???)

When we got back home, we wanted to bath the babies. Since it was soo strikingly sunny, we'd decide to do it later when the weather was abit more cooler, and ended up with us napping the afternoon away till four pm.

We awoke and bath the babies, (They didn't like the water!) and then it was Gossip time with Pizza and Coke at the porch! What does a 22 yr old and two 13 yr olds have in common? You'd be surprised!

It soon got bored, so we decided to go to the playground.

(Chelsea, Cassie & Me)

And we got cam-whoring again!

(**SmILeY'z**)

Got distracted with some phone calls, so Cassie took over cam-whoring.

(Candid Shot)

("Yeah..U're right..." Looks Up..Eh!)

(Cassie inside the slide)

Chelsea didn't like cam-whoring as much as us, so there isn't much pix of her. After awhile, the gurls got bored of me being on the phone so they went a join someone's party that was being held at the playground. Apparently, it was Lyndon's (Ethel's older sibbling) friend's birthday party and he was there. So while playing the games, Cassie and Chelsea went and help him out.

I didn't realised until I got off the phone, so I went to watch them. Big mistake! got dragged in to play one of the games (egg on spoon game) Felt weird cuz we had no inkling who's birthday was it!!

Apparently the birthday boy's name is Nathan. We each had a slice of the birthday cake, and I keep saying that we'd gatecrash this poor boy's party to the gurls. We giggled about it and eat the food being given to us by the boy's mom.

(Birthday boy with Transformers Cake! Happy 7th bday Nathan (Whoever you are, lol)

Aunty Emma (Godsista's Philipino Maid) came over and looked so concerned. "Haiya! Brenda got worried when you all haven't come home and especially Lyndon!!" I was so surprised and looked at Lyndon. Disbelieve was showing in my face when I asked him "Lydon, you didn't tell Bren jie that you were going for your friend's birthday party?" He stubbornly denied, saying he did.

Later, we thanked the lady hostess, who was nathan's mum and apologies saying we didn't meant to intrude. She was so kind and laugh it off, even thanking us for coming although she didn't know our names. She also gaily joked that if we were to have our own party, she'll come and gatecrash it too, what a nice lady!

Cassie was pissed off and told Lyndon that he was going to do all the explaining when Brenda asked or got mad.

When we reached home with aunty Em, more surprises was in store. Apparently Lyndon wasn't even invited to the party! Wow, we really GATECRASHED the boy's party for real, LOL!!

It was nearly time for me to go home, Cassie and Chels begged me to stay another night, but I couldn't as I'd promised to met my partner's godmother for breakfast. So Cassie took a few a-la-Paris Hilton shots with Cookie.

(Paris in Pee-jays with 'Bambi')

(Paris & Bambi prt 2)

(**SmoooCch!**)

(Cassie "Am gonna miss you!" *DoGGy HUuuG!!* Cookie "Me too!" *Choke, choke!*)

Then it was a sad-goodbye and flying kisses, as our car speed off into the night back home, with the puppies inside the box. Except....halfway on the road, we had to pull over cause the smell was overbearing and it turns out the babies did a farewell poop for me to change!!

Till next post~ Adios amigos!

You'll be leaving me soon my babyz....

Time flies by so fast, most times I wish it wouldn't so. In time, most memories will fade away, other times, it is saved and stored in a secret place where you'll reach for it when you need to walk down memory lane.

This coming saturday, I'll be giving away my puppies to my relatives. All three took my heart away, just like how a real BABY would. If you're a dog lover, you would understand what this ranting is all about. I saw them being delivered at birth, took care of them, feed them and loved them. It was all hard work, there were five of them but the two boys didn't survived.

Cookie in a basket, isn't she just adorable?

Thier deaths were heartwrenching to me, imagine seeing a life fade away right before your very eyes, and yet you could do nothing about it but just watch as it painfully fades away into nothingness and you just pray, pray that thier god-given souls would reach heavens gate in blissful peace and not pain.

Cookie was nearly one of them, I racked my brains trying to figure out how to keep her alive instead of joining her beloved brothers. She was a tiny, and weak baby pup. You could tell by looking at her size. The picture above was when she's a month and a half old. She was freakishly tiny compared to her fluff sized sisters, Christy and Lady. Take a look below;

Cookie on top of older sister Chacha, Christy (Head upturned) & Lady.

Chacha is older by a few months, she & twin sister Meegu were born mid last year. This picture is the most recent of the trio (Cookie, Christy & Lady). You'll be surprised to know that Lady is the eldest and Cookie's 2nd, then only comes Christy! yet Christy (black) is bigger in size.

At the current moment, they're outside my door playing "Puppy Tag" with thier mum and elder sisters. I'm only going to be able to live this moment till I see them off end of this week. Parting has never been easy for me when it comes to this. Its like tearing a part of you, or letting something so precious walk away from your life, or rather I should say letting go of something so beautiful and god-given; the trio.

I'll miss them with every heartache, especially cookie. I'll miss waking up every four hours in the morning, feeding her, making sure her tummy's all swelled up so that she'll live and grow. I felt like a proud mamma when I heard her first real bark today, felt so proud when I'd realised she'd finally grown a little, like four inches longer and an inch taller. It was all worth it, the endless nights not being able to sleep properly, all for the sake of her living and breathing and jumping like a cute lil'bunny (She literally hops instead of jumping!)

Yes, indeed I'll miss every inch and breath of them, I pray I'll see them more when they've gone to good homes. I've too many to keep, I just wished they were born earlier, that way I could have kept them instead.

I'm going to miss them so........

Rainy Sunday

Buenos Everyone!

Aaahh...my first ever blog, and already the title says it all of my current sad existence of a moment about what I feel. Chocolates anyone? I have to admit one thing before I do go on tho, I had a blog, this is my second actually, but I will try to keep this one in tiptop shape as my days are free so, blogging this will be for me. (Notice some poetry going on here? LOL!)

Well then, its a sunday today. Nothing much, the usual lazing on sundays are supposedly the better of all days in the week, no? I have thoughts of shopping, (as does any girl would!) but my partner has other plans like watching Olympics football (They should banned football in Olympics, what will football having so many kinds of seasons!!) so there goes my "brilliant idea" of how to spend your sunday today. *Crunching paper being tossed into the bin sound*

Oh well, toodle-de-dum! So how should a Sunday be spend I wonder? Maybe I'll try conning my partner to see a movie after dinner, any ideas what good movies to see? Nevermind, scratch that. He just gave me a boulder by saying MU is playing at 10pm.*Sob sob!* So much for a movie, sigh.

Geez, talk about boredom mania! Oh, I have to fill you in on a wedding I'd attended yesterday night. It was held in KL, somewhere along Jalan Tun Razak at a restaurant named Flower Drum (Or something to the extend, can't remember!) and at the start of the wedding dinner it was totally weird, we felt like aliens!. Why alien? 50% of those people sitting around me and my brother (Mum was seated at a different table three feet away) are family members we never knew existed! (Yes, yes, its to be expected I can hear y'all say, ahh...but wait! letme go on and you'll understand why)

Well, as I come from a NYONYA background we pride in being very, very family orientated. So it really is a huge shock finding out you don't really know who most of this people are, let alone the irony of it is that the bridegroom is my cousin who I didn't even knew existed and am appearing on his wedding dinner to which he himself doesn't know that I'm..well..errr..We are there. Even as he shook my hands after the whole dinner was over, as usual the bride and groom stands at the entrance thanking everyone who came. He still has no inkling he has shook hands with a relative. I could literally see it in his eyes that he has no idea!

Yeah well, no biggie I know. Its happened many a times, anyway this wasn't what I wanted to rant about tho. No, it was the ugly joke that happened during the wedding reception.

Normally, as the guest waits for the bride and the groom to appear in every chinese wedding dinner, guest are treated with food and beverages while being occupied by the emcee/emcees of the day.

First blunder; food arrived late, emcee was boring us with lame jokes (I meant really, "Weddings are all about guys losing thier bachelor degree and woman gaining thier masters!") Second blunder, Shark fin soup came second? Isn't it supposed to come first? Thirdly, friends/ relatives were toasting "Yam Sengs" to each other instead of to the bride and grooms (this was before, during and after the bride and groom came into the wedding hall) which was quite rude to be honest, (Hello people? ITS THE BRIDE AND BRIDESGROOMS DAY?) Oh, the wedding horrors!

Thankfully though, I think the happy couple didn't notice much of those blunders, so it was a success for them I assume.

*Hands up who has gone to weddings with realllllyyy bad emcees?!* Yes, this was one of them. He requested for us to "Please stand on your toes everyone?" and while congratulating the lovers, instead of " and thirdly.." he said "and TOADly.." followed by silence..and a loud guffaws coming from my table!!

Oh gosh! I tell you, he was then nickname the "TOADLY" guy and we had Toadly jokes, really he tried making jokes but it ended up being lame, but the best part was He was the butt of all jokes thorought the evening. Poor guy...

Alright, this is it for now. Next time, I'll compiled a list of DO's and Don'ts when you go for weddings. Till then, Ciao bella!
